Sunday, November 2, “THE HARLEM MILES” The Greater
Harlem Chamber of Commerce in partnership with
New York Road Runners and “Harlem Healthy
Living” proudly salutes “The Harlem Miles” of
the ING New York City Marathon with live music
stages at various strategic areas along the
race route, featuring Jazz, Gospel, R&B,
Latin, Calypso, etc. to inspire the runners
and to entertain the crowds. |

Harlem Health Promotion
Center Community Health Forum
will be offering
workshops on Food/Nutrition, Indoor/Outdoor
Environment, Stress Management + Holistic
Healing, Fitness, Oral Health and Budgeting
for a Healthy Lifestyle. We have a lot of
great speakers lined up already, including
representatives from the Harlem DPHO, Little
Sisters of the Assumption, WE ACT, Mount
Sinai, Harlem Hospital, and more. There will
also be free health screenings (blood
pressure, glucose, cholesterol). Breakfast and
lunch will be provided.
